The critically minded may find it hard to believe that there is still one remaining Knysna elephant. And even if there is, how many people will be lucky enough to see it? Fortunately, at the Knysna Elephant Park and at the The Crags Elephant Sanctuary visitors are guaranteed of seeing elephants, and are given the unique opportunity to 'hug and touch' them.

Elephants will happily munch elephant snacks from your hand, but remember that a full grown elephant can eat up to 300 kg (600 lbs) of food a day!
